Senior Software Engineer - C,C++, A global healthcare products leader, Hyderabad

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Work as a member of a large multi-functional (hardware, software, electrical, mechanical) team in the software design and development of embedded software for client’s line of Respiratory Care Products.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides technical leadership to sub-project teams - Takes a leadership role in design and code reviews as they pertain to software designs.
2. Responsible for software designs and work products on projects.
3. Participates in requirements development.
4. Works with management and development teams to establish best practices.
5. Works with management to develop and maintain the software group’s technology roadmap.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education :

BSEE/CS or equivalent.  MSEE/CS preferred.

 

Experience :

* 5-7+ years of experience with embedded system software design

 

* Must have 2+ yrs. experience developing software in a regulated industry such as medical, aerospace, defense, nuclear etc.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

 

* Knowledge of OOA&D and familiarity with UML is strongly desired.

* Candidate should be knowledgeable and have a demonstrated experience in software engineering processes and multiple product life cycles.

 

Skills & Competencies:

* Strong knowledge and experience with C/C++ required.

* Experience in embedded, real-time applications required

* Experience in hardware/software interfacing and design issues required

 

Other Skills :

* Superior written and verbal communication skills required.

* Requirement tracing tools such as DOORS or Requisite Pro
