- In depth pro-active analysis for two or more domains using standardized PCM solution dashboard reporting (technical KPIs, process quality health KOMY indicators) to identify exceptions and trends that indicate potential warranted action regarding current and/or planned infrastructure
- Execute via PCM solution components, standardized on-demand reporting and ad-hoc queries for diagnostic focused drill-down on exceptional conditions in support of pro-active resolution of performance incidents
- Develop recommendations for change to current or future infrastructure to ensure efficient usage of infrastructure to deliver acceptable service for infrastructure components and clients applications workloads
- Liaise with central and regional capacity process owners, applications analysts, and provide operational compliance with regional and global procedures and governance committees to review and validate changes recommendations
- Manage thresholds for KPIs within PCM configuration tables to ensure effective and efficient capacity management reporting and analysis
- Participate with global PCM community (i.e. process owners, application analysts, technical domain SMEs, process and technical solution engineers) to govern the adoption of improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of PCM processes in achieving process objectives
- Provide input and functional specification for improvements to be prioritized in planning successive releases of PCM standardized solution
- Provide input and liaise with regional and central PCM teams in the formation and update management of documentation in support of regional and global capacity plan studies and its analysis
- 4+ years experience in technical and/or operational support for one or more technology service lines (Mainframes and/or Servers) ; familiarity with\best practice tools and methodologies in the management of mainframes
- Aptitude for usage of standardized PCM solution components
(i.e. SAS/EG for on-demand reporting and ad-hoc query) and domain specific
systems and application management and diagnostic tools)
- Familiarity with process life cycle management and
continuous improvement methodology and concepts, Six Sigma
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation
skills
Proven ability to work with teams across geographic
boundaries to negotiate change improvements
